This isn't going to sound gentle since it's via text, but I think the natural rhythm of the video and the song don't mesh together at all. The choice ofscenes and editing is good (particularly with the craptacular Movie Maker), but the sound of the song is too calm for the visuals you give, particularly later on in the video.

I also admit some bias because I heard it and immediately went "oh, that excellent cover of my favorite!" and think the association with FFIX is too strong, but it probably isn't as much an issue for some people because IX is THAT ONE GAME in the fandom. The bigger dilemma just seems to be the general feel of it. I'd go into more detail but HERP I have to run to my voice lessons now, so I apologize if this comes off overly callous!
