Okay, yeah, I'll totally give you that. XD
But, using that argument:
Kingdom Hearts is about a preteen using a giant key as a melee weapon to save the multiverse.
Zelda is about a time-traveling pointy-eared kid saving the princess of a land of faeries from what nearly always winds up being a giant evil pig.
Mario is about a plumber jumping on the head of a fire-breathing mutated turtle in order to save a princess who rules a kingdom of animate fungi.
In conclusion, game designers are all
completely insane
, but that doesn't make the games they create any less fun to play.
