I just felt I had to say that. ^^
I saw an article on the news today about music and its influence on the younger members of society. Supposedly, the more you listen to songs that promote sex, the more likely you are to have casual sex at a younger age. My reaction was something along the lines of, well, duh. You kinda need somebody to tell you that casual sex is WRONG, as opposed to people like Nelly Furtado.
I used to like Nelly Furtado when she was "like a bird" and "powerless." Now that she's "promiscuous"...well, not so much.
One of the reasons for that being, my brother liked the song...that was, until I had to explain to him exactly what "promiscuous" meant. Keep in mind the kid's fourteen.
Yeah, that was a fun three sentences. >.<
So, in conclusion, I was right about bad music all along and I totally have a perfect excuse to listen to J-Pop. Hooray!
