LOL CHRISTMAS

 Merry Christmas everybody! Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Winter Solstice, and all that jazz. :D

I've decided - my favorite Christmas traditionis having my dad read A Visit from St. Nicholas. He mocks it. In rhyme. It's freaking hilarious. He made one crack last night that had my mom laughing so hard she was (quite literally) crying. It was beautiful. XD

Now I have National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and a steak dinner to look forward to tonight, as well as a raspberry-pudding-brownie parfait. It is SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD. *keels over in ecstasy just thinking of it*

Now, the part that everybody else has done and that I suppose I should do as well: the haul.
~ Okami for the PS2 (ohhhhhhh YES. I may have to tie up both my brothers before I get a chance to play it, but if it comes to that, I'll do it. XD)
~ Terry Pratchett books (*squeeeeeeeeee!!!*)
~ Assorted clothings (but no L♥VE shirt this time, thank goodness. ^^; )
~ Dumbo. (I put Disney Movies on my list, and...LOL Dumbo. XD; I think I should watch it today.)
~ Season 2 of House (my mom told me they didn't have Season 1, and we could exchange it later if I liked...I think I'll take her up on that. I just realized Season 2 is the one with Stacey in it, and nobody likes Stacey. ^^; )
~ The Muppet Show, first season, boxed set. I squeed when I saw it, I squeed when I saw the Vincent Price episode is on it, and the very first short in the very first episode? Mahna Mahna. *Squeeeeeee!*
~ Speaking of Mahna Mahna, one of the presents I found under the tree was a little stuffed...thing. It's a little fuzzy red monster wearing a hat and scarf and mittens, and when you push its foot it sings "Deck the Halls" and "Mahna Mahna" by turns. I freaking LOVE that thing. Once I can hook my camera up to my computer again, I think I'll film it and put it on YouTube so y'all can see it. My roomie (and the rest of the suite, because it's LOUD) will just have to deal with it, because I'm bringing it back to Pepperdine with me. :D

As for the icon? Yes, I did find a pack of cards in my stocking. XD

Now, don't expect to hear a lot from me starting tomorrow, because I'm going to Hawaii for a week starting then. :D (This is for those of you who missed the huge excited announcement a few posts ago. ^^; ) Mele kalikimaka! Aloha! *waves*

Random Observations

I love the Muppet Show. Waaaaaaay too much.

I never got corrielle a Christmas present. *headdesk* Frigging blizzard killed all my shopping/social opportunities. I should get her something from Hawaii. (And something on her list.) XD;

My older brother gave my dad golf balls (I still need to give him the Pepperdine ones I have stashed away). My mom gave my little brother flexible plastic covers for his Wiimotes.

So my dad has new balls, and my brother has rubbers for his Wii.

No, I *haven't* been making dirty jokes all day. What makes you say that?

Using Burt's Bees lip balm is weird. In both smell and feel, it's like applying liquid peppermint directly to your face.

(EDIT: Upon closer inspection, one of the ingredients has been revealed as peppermint oil. DURR ME THINK GUD)

"Hallujah! Holy shit!" is the best line in Christmas Vacation, bar none.

I want to go play Kingdom Hearts. Chances of me doing that right now are slim and none.
