More of a homework break, actually, but who's counting.
I've gotten some assignments done today, but that Structuralism paper's still hanging over my head. I don't know why I'm having so many issues getting into it. I was kind of hoping to have it done early this afternoon, but considering I didn't wake up until noon (which was lovely) and wasn't really functional until two, that plan went to waste. I'd like to have it done before I leave for my friend's party at nine, but again, odds of that are pretty poor. I might just marathon the sucker Sunday night. My usual MO works, right? |D
That said! Book meme real fast! Then I do dinner and attempt to pound out some words. Grr.

1) The deck of the French ship was slippery with blood, heaving in the choppy sea; a stroke might as easily bring down the man making it as the intended target.
2) "There are not so many fine frigates out there."
3) Having made this coarse remark, McKinnon belatedly recalled his company; he glanced over his shoulder in some embarrassment to see if any of the ladies had overheard, and dropped the subject.
4) "Are you not feeling well?" Laurence asked, inspecting his jaws, but Temeraire was bloodstained and messy from his meal, and looked to have eaten well.
5) In his heard he shared the simplicity of Temeraire's view of the matter, and he fell asleep almost at once in the security of the slow, deep rushing of Temeraire's heartbeat, so very much like the endless sound of the sea.
BOOK TWO: The Handmaid's Tale, guessed byormery
1) We slept in what had once been the gymnasium.
2) I would always get there first, check in.
3) You can wet the rim of a glass and run your finger around the rim and it will make a sound.
4) I was sitting in the chair.
5) Are there any questions?
BOOK THREE
1) "Mutant Wizards," I said.
2) August isn't a month when you want to spend much time outdoors in Virginia.
3) Unless, of course, you wanted to cause Mutant Wizards the kind of problems that would result from a missed deadline on the new game.
4) Did she think I was so unbalanced that she'd need to make a run for it?
5) "We have a plane to catch."
BOOK FOUR: Reaper Man, guessed byormery
1) The Morris dance is common to all inhabited worlds in the multiverse.
2) "Could have killed me," he muttered, tossing it away.
3) This is important.
4) And yet they did, and even seemed to find enjoyment in it, when surely the only sensible course would be to despair.
5) And at the end of all stories Azrael, who knew the secret, thought: I REMEMBER WHEN ALL THIS WILL BE AGAIN.
Wow, these all wound up much more obscure than I expected. XD
