So I've been assigned a paper that's due tomorrow for my once-a-week-Thursday class, English 395. We were assigned what she called a "Writer's Profile," which was described as "a summary of how your writing has grown and changed. It's the same thing that you did for your junior writing portfolio."
Um, I'm a sophomore. In a class of about ten people, we've got at least two sophomores and two freshman. That description ain't helping us.
So then she tells us that there are more details in the syllabus, except she doesn't have the syllabus for our class on her, but she'll email it to us soon.
Last night, I finally emailed her and asked for details on the assignment. I got one back with the excerpt from the syllabus (which the email says she'll give to us next time we meet...okay...) detailing what to do on the paper and giving a due date of the 17th. Her email says it's due next week.
Cue another round of "bzuh?" emails, the end result of which is me finding out yes, it is due Thursday, despite the fact that I had to go ask for the details instead of receiving them as I had been assured I would.
Okay, four pages, double spaced, TNR, all about me. I can do this.
Then I look at the assignment again.
"Write a 3-4 page analysis of your development as a writer over the last year or last semester."
Well shit. I haven't done a damn thing for the past year. In fact, if I've done anything, it's gone backwards. My junior and senior year high school English teachers were excellent, and so far nobody at Pepperdine has measured up. At all.
So this is going to be four pages double spaced TNR about how I AIN'T DUN NUTTIN. :Db
Should be fun. -_-

Plus, it's not graded, just for credit. (It's a CR/NCR class anyways, so...)

Steal the TARDIS, go forward in time, steal your future self's junior writing portfolio, come back to the present and turn that in. Easy peasy~
Seriously though your teacher sounds kind of retarded :|

She's 1298534673984752413475862385345891720x better than my English 101 teacher - just absentminded. -_-
