Okayyyyyyso. Came off hiatus on Daisychain, got a whole bunch of purse stuff done (Hayley, Shannon, they're all but ready to ship now), had a good night.

Until I found out that my aunt, uncle, and two young girl cousins (kintergarden and sixth grade, respectively) were coming down to stay for a while. We knew they'd be coming at some point, since my granny is here and they want to see her too, but we didn't know quite when.

Until tonight, that is. That's when they called us with their arrival date.

Which is Saturday night. Like, the day after tomorrow.

So in this time, I have to have my room completely clean (because my room doubles as the guest room, hurrah), be moved into the basement (where I'll be staying with my cousins), finish my purses, work two shifts, and help get ready for two barbeques.

...and, y'know, watch Doctor Who, because like hell am I putting that off. IT MAY BE LATE SATURDAY NIGHT, JEN, SPISH, BUT I FULLY INTEND TO MAKE IT.

I normally wouldn't gripe so much, but...well, I have some rather interesting blonde stories about my aunt, and my cousins were spoiled the last time I saw them. Despite my parents' reassurances that they've gotten better, I'm still approaching this with a good deal of apprehension.

Ooooh, purse. I'm happy! Because I've been wanting to change out my purse for a while, but I haven't wanted to go purse shopping because I'm lame and ungirly like that. Let me know where/when/how much I need to send you sometime, and it will be done.

As for all the family stuff, I wish you good luck. Surprise visits are always so amazing. (I have a friend who always happens to arrive from her home three hours away without telling any of use here in Spokompton that she's coming. She just shows up and calls while she's outside our apartments. BAD FORM. I feel for you.)

It's allllllllmost done. I need to do a few buttons (if I can find the right colors) and tie the ribbon on the belt, but aside from that...yeah, almost done. :3

We're looking at $25-30, but I'll let you know when I'm completely finished.

Sounds good, just let me know. I'm expecting my paycheck from my three day job *fail* so I'll have the money. (Plus I got my full housing deposit back from Gonzaga, so that helps.)

I'll wish you as much patience that I have. Which, considering that it's me you're talking to, may not be a huge amount. But remember, you can always drop me an IM if I'm online and rant. That's what I'm here for.

But boo family not giving notice. XP That really sucks, seriously. I mean, giving you that little notice gives you so much time to get everything all taken care of for them. *sigh*

Check through the mail is just fine, but I probably won't ship the purse until I get the check, because it'll help cover shipping.

...I suppose I should be grateful it was "we'll be here on Saturday" last night instead of "Hi, we're here!" on Saturday. XD;
