This...was not the best of days. Physically, I woke up at about nine am. Mentally, I woke up at about five pm. I had a good amount of research to do for this paper, which I somehow managed to pick up from two trips to the library. (Yes, two; evidently the price of gas for the Logicmobile is going up and I'm just a poor college student. Oops.) Said paper, the Shakespeare paper, is in detailed outline format. Seeing as a rough draft is what needs to be turned in tomorrow, that's what's getting turned in. It's four doublespaced pages of outline for a seven to eight doublespaced page paper; I think I should be okay.

The general came to visit.

The plane tickets I bought would require me to leave campus on Tuesday before my 2 pm class. The only problem with this is, I'm supposed to present my project at my 2 pm class. I emailed the teacher - we'll see how that one goes. If he says I still have to be there or doesn't email me back, I'm giving the project to one of my classmates and leaving anyways. My family is more important than that class. He can't really fault me for turning it in early or on time, can he?

...if he does, oh freaking well. I gave all my damns at the beginning of the semester; I have none left to give now.

Monday morning I write a reading note and scour Macbeth IV.i so I know it for the guest teacher. Rhetoric class is cancelled - we're emailing our papers in. I'm probably not going to History - I asked [livejournal.com profile] smoothiegarten to take notes for me.

Monday night I take a trip to CVS to pick up craft supplies. I print my research on yellowed paper (form of ancient diary; he said make it creative and boy howdy am I ever) and build a gallows out of popsicle sticks. I may Sharpie it black if I have the time. As for the reflection...I'm good at BS. Really good.

Tuesday morning, depending on WTF happens, I pack.

Tuesday afternoon, I leave Pepperdine.

Tuesday night, I arrive in Denver. An hour after that...I'm home for nearly a week.

Glory hallelujah.

On a lighter note, Canon brought me a cookie tonight. :D I've discovered that I really love hanging out with him, and I wasn't expecting it. I think spending time with him (despite the fact that it was pretty much just an hour watching an old movie) was the best part of the weekend, and I want to do it more often.

...I don't think it's so much guys that are difficult to figure out as it is my relationships with guys that are giving me hell. Jeez.

And this has gone on much longer than I originally indended, so it's about time for it to end. Expect more rambling (possibly) at the completion of the Ironically Named Religion Project from Hell.

Break a leg with your projectystuffs! Also, prepare to be abducted while you are here. I come with stealth. In the NIGHT.

Wow, his actual name is Canon? o_o

That's the point. It's much harder to abduct people when they're awake.

Is he cute?

Ack, sorry I didn't get back to your text sooner! My phone is made of dumb.

If you need a ride on Tuesday, I can get ya to LAX. :O

Well, we can always do what we did before and leave around 2:00/2:30, then hang at Howard Hughes for awhile before going the rest of the way to the airport. :O That might be the best option, since I'm betting traffic tomorrow through Thursday going to LAX will be pretty bad since everyone's flying for the same reason you are. XD

So yeah, I can totally take you really early afternoon and then we'll hang! I can also bring a sketchbook/TWEWY and do some life-drawing homeworks after you catch your plane while waiting for traffic to free up. o/

I has taken the notes and will send them to you next time I'm on the computer they're on! Safe trip!
