I just got back from taking my car to get a tire put on. Evidently, tires and wheels are sold separately, and the new tire was in while the new wheel wasn't. (The old wheel was cracked and shot to hell...no using that one.) So I basically went up, got the spare changed to the new tire/old wheel, realized I couldn't drive on the old wheel, and got the spare put back on.
Big waste of time, gas, and brain power (on which I am currently running rather low.)
And if that wasn't bad enough, my mom has decided I can't do anything social until I find a job. Keep in mind, this is the same mother that said neither my older brother nor I are likely to find jobs if we don't have any connections (which, by the way, we don't). Like I haven't been pounding the pavement since my most likely jobs fell through. (That Laser Quest job? The Game Stop job? The Ruby Tuesday's job? Yeah...no.) Nobody wants to hire anybody for a month and a half, and there is no way in hell I'm going to work at McDonalds. (I tend to eat at McDonalds...those things don't mix.) I have applied nearly everywhere else.
My mother also complains that I have no social life, that I need to get away from my computer and get out more. HOW IN HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT IF I CAN'T DO ANYTHING SOCIAL?! HUH?!!
