Evidently I'm not as screwed as I thought I was last night. :D

My Psychology studying is shaping up. I still have to ask my roomie where exactly she found the online review tests (what? Put them in the syllabus? Why, of course not! *sigh*), but I'm going to do a section or two tonight and take my notes to study during work.

The Sociology project is in two weeks - the 21st. Even though it's a group project, we're still graded individually. Basically, once I get my data, I need to work my butt off to memorize (no notecards allowed) 2.5 minutes worth of sociological theories and terms. I think I'm going to start looking things up now - hopefully that'll help.

My professor also told me we could drop our lowest quiz, and that he'd curve the quizzes and drop the curve. (No, I'm not sure what he means by that. I need to go ask him.)

As for Religion...well, there's nothing I can do for that until I get another assignment. I'll just take good notes and read. With any luck, that should be enough.

I need to make appointments with my financial advisor and my academic advisor to figure out scheduling, both for next semester and next year. (London, baby! Made of yes and win!) So there's a huge to-do list with that.

And House is on tonight. ^^; (I have my priorities lined up, I swear. :D)

One last thing. A note to [livejournal.com profile] gaelic_bohemian, [livejournal.com profile] corrielle, [livejournal.com profile] ghettopeach, [livejournal.com profile] lynxgriffin, and [livejournal.com profile] scifichicx: my Harry Potter professor says you all can drop in on classes, just so long as you warn me so I can e-mail him the day before. Hooray! :D

I just found out I need a 3.5 to keep my scholarship.

Now, my friends, we kick it into HIGH FREAKING GEAR.

And pray.

EDIT: I decided to call OneStop instead of freaking out about it anymore. Here's what they told me:

~The WANT me to have a 3.5 to keep the scholarship. If I get a 3.5, I'm safe.
~ If I fail to get a 3.5, they look at my cumulative GPA (all the semesters I've been at Pepperdine - for me now, it's just one). If my cumulative GPA is below 2.75 for that semester, they send me an official warning and put me on academic probation.
======If it's my second semester having a semester GPA less than 3.5 and a cumulative GPA below 2.75, the scholarship is gone.
~ If I fail to get a 3.5 for the semester but my cumulative GPA is above 2.75, they allow me to keep the scholarship without the official warning or the academic probation. It's a grey area: it's not where they want me to be and I need to work harder, but I won't be penalized.

The long and short of it is, At the moment I have a 2.6, so I still need to work my butt off. If I don't *quite* manage to hit a 3.5, though, it's okay - just so long as it's above 2.75. Actually, given my parents, it should be as close to a 3.5 as possible, if not well above.

Basically, work my butt off, study, pray and praise the Holy Lord above that Pepperdine forgives its students.

I'm in an academic foxhole and I never was an athiest to begin with. Seriously, people, what did you think I'd do? ;D
