I. Don't even know where to start.

Oh, wait, yes I do. I KNEW THERE WAS A REASON I KEPT THIS ICON ALL THIS TIME.

:Db

Once I actually found out where we were going (gueeeeeeess who believes in surprises), it turned out to be a little Italian place. Their Valentine's Day menu was a five course dinner, which had a course that was - I kid you not - two pieces of ravioli, a course of cheese and fruit that confused the waitress just as much as it did us, fantastic filet mignon, and a dessert that looked like a Hostess cake and that I nearly managed to launch into my lap trying to get it open.

We then hiked around Hollywood for about an hour or so, trying to find a theater that was playing Valentine's Day. Amazing how few of those there were tonight. Also, I saw Vincent Price's star!

...remind me to educate my boyfriend on just who Vincent Price is.

After a lack of successful theater-finding in Hollywood and finding out that the next showing in Thousand Oaks started at 10:45 (this was a little after 9:30, mind you), we...went to Albertson's to pick up generic DayQuil (I know. So romantic. Gonna remember that forever).

And then he took me to a park and pulled out his guitar and serenaded me

and then I started crying.

I really, really don't know how to handle people doing romantic stuff for me.

But it was a good kind of crying, if that makes any sense.

So yes, overall Valentine's Day was fantastic. I do have much more detail on all this stuff, but if you want it you're going to have to ask for it sometime tomorrow, as it's nearly one in the morning and I am in dire need of some sleep. After all, Disneyland awaits.

D'awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I'm glad you guys had a fantastic time, and I'm glad the serenading went over well. (I totally would have cried too. Matt actually serenaded me for our first anniversary ON THE BEACH AND TO DEAN MARTIN and I definitely welled up. XD) I demand details at the closest opportunity!!!

We went to DELICIOUS sushi OM NOM NOM. Though first we went back to Pdine so Brittney could make me look pretty (I may put up a photo later :P) and that took, like, an hour and a half. x__x BUT WORTH IT. And after sushi we went home and watched Dirty Dancing which I'd never seen before. And we both cried at the end. *is not ashamed* and it was looooooooooooooooooooooovely. THE MAN WROTE ME A SONNET JESUS CHRIST.

We are two very lucky ladies, n'est-ce pas? :D :D :D
