I just beat Kingdom Hearts II.

I don't think I can express it any better right now.

And the secret ending...wow. Just...well, an unbelievable amount of WOW. Although I really can see where the Batman jokes came from.

I don't know why the idea of a Keyblade War intrigues me so. I mean, war is hell, quite literally. So why do I want to see it so badly? Aside from the fact that it's the next logical step for this series to take, I mean. And for some reason, i really like the concept of all-out war in my fandoms. I can't explain it, it just...appeals to me somehow. I like to see the tactical turns the battle takes, the wins and losses, the assured victories and the surprise routs, the...well, the everything. I really don't know why.

...And I'm starting to scare myself, so I'll stop now.

And watching it was just amazing. Those three people in armor? Yeah. TOTALLY Sora, Riku, and Kairi. Please. Look at the Keyblades they pull out of the ground. Recognize them? You should. And (I don't know why I notice this), even under that armor, you can tell the second person they show is a woman. (She walks like it). It's totally the Original Trio. There's just nobody else it could be (pun not intended).

(Frankly, I think this just helps to prove my point. Blue eyes, silver hair...totally Riku. Totally.)

And then tafkae pointed something out to me that I hadn't thought of before.

At one point in the game, Xigbar tells Sora, "Compared to the others, you're no hero."

...WHAT?!

You did NOT just screw with my head like that. Oi.

So guess what I'll be thinking about for the next week. ^^;

2009 and the advent of the PS3 can NOT come soon enough for me.

Congrats! Isn't it a wonderful feeling? XD
Nomura said those were three new people we haven't met, but that doesn't mean it can't be something like "The Destiny Island gang...AS ADULTS!!11" because technically we haven't "met" them. He likes to be vague and shifty, you know.
And I want to see some of those former Keyblade Masters. It makes me wonder how the deuce Xigbar knew that. Did he read about it somewhere, was he there to witness more Keyblade Masters? EXPLAIN THIS, PLZ.

Oh wow, you did all the secret ending stuff? I don't have nearly as much patience! And when does Xigbar say that anyways..?

Part of me hopes Squeenix will kiss and make up with Nintendo or go Xbox so I don't have to drop $600+ on a PS3 when KHIII finally rolls around though.
