To a certain member of the Pepperdine chapter of Sigma Chi whose name begins with R,

I don't care if you've decided not to give me your derby. In fact, that's perfectly acceptable; after all, you wouldn't be the first.

I would appreciate it, however, if you would inform me of this development. I understand there are several other girls competing to win your hat, and I know you may have given it to one of them. I would like to know whether or not you've made this decision so I can stop wasting my time and money competing for something that is no longer available.

STANDING ME UP is not the way to convey that message. We made plans for 10 this morning. If you couldn't make it, I would think you would have at least made a phone call telling me so. Hell, I would've thought you'd have your cell phone turned on.

And don't try to tell me you're asleep, you underhanded little EX. I saw you up and dressed in my 8 a.m. Sociology class this morning.
