Today was the last day of Vacation Bible School. The 3rd-5th grade boy's group we were paired with (I was in charge of the 3rd-5th grade girl's group) decided on the first day that they would have a team name: the Pirates. Of course, my girls decided they needed to have a name as well.
What did they come up with?
The Black Pearl Ninjas.
We've had a real-live pirates versus ninjas thing going on this entire week. The ninjas tended to win - ironically, we were louder. ^^'
So I've been wearing my homemade Naruto headband all week. I debated wearing my other one (the one with the Village of the Sound symbol on it), but...well...I was supposed to be teaching these kids about God. The irony was too much, even for me. ^^
So now it's over. On the downside, I'll miss the girls in my group. On the upside, now I get to sleep in. ^^
