When was the last time I had a post of any substance, I wonder?
Oh yeah. Friday when I was emoing about my roomie leaving.
Well, I need a new one, that's oldand emo and I'm tired of looking at it.
SO.
Sunday wasn't really special, but Monday was Six Flags. That'll get a whole other post (if I ever get around to it XD;).
I watched Muland and Nightmare Before Christmas last night (second night in a row for both of them).
I found out that my friends never ordered my Christmas presents from pinstripesuit's art sale, so no Roxas and Luxord t-shirts for me. I'll be buying them in her next art sale, I guess.
My Axel and Demyx shirts were shipped today.
I have to give a speech on Thursday for class. I need to write it first. I don't want to.
Breaking in my new boots by walking up to the CCB and back was a really bad idea. If I can't wear them for a whole day, how am I going to wear them all day at the con?
I need to go buy a phone at the bookstore. They're only eight bucks or so, and I really need one in the room so people don't have to call my cell phone to be let in.
I also need to order my Axel wig.
I need to stop putting my to-do list in my LJ.
Well, I'm off to go terrorize the new recruits. Wish me luck. ^^;

Saturday was a total blast (with the exception of the first half, in which the roomie left). I hung out with lynxgriffin most of the afternoon and well into the evening. She took me to Target (:D)
Now, when buying a TV, 20" simply refers to screen size. With a built-in VCR/DVD combo, the TV is actually 20x22(x19). Seeing as manufacturers tend to like putting 30 bazillion pounds of styrofoam in the box with it, that makes the box a general 30x30x30 AT LEAST.
The darned thing wouldn't fit in Lynx's car, trunk or side. So then she called one of her friends with a bigger car to help us out, and it wouldn't fit in there either. We ended up unpacking the thing right there in the Target parking lot and stuffing it in Lynx's backseat (with the folded box, remote, and instructions in the trunk). The whole process took about 20 minutes.
The moral of the story is, never go TV shopping without 1) a big car, and 2) a very patient friend. :D;;;
Then we headed back to Lynx's house for some FFXII. No, I didn't MST the whole thing. (I actually didn't MST much of it at all, I don't think. ^^; ) I also got my first taste of Proud mode while at her house. Being the brilliant person I am, I decided it would be fun to fight Demyx in proud mode.
OWOWOW. Now I know why people always go on about the "ten clones in ten seconds" thing. It was unbelievably hard. *sigh* But Lynx was absolutely right - once I got Donald's Comet limit to work, it was quick work. But holy cow...yikes.
