In which they give us a mug with root beer float (straight ice cream for me, 'cause I don't like root beer).
Seriously, this is great. The NSO (New Student Orientation) people are doing everything they can to make us freshmen feel at home, and I love it.
Classes haven't started yet, which is good - I still need to get out of English Language and Comp 101. (Schedule changes start tomorrow, so I'm actually not being lazy for once in my life.)
Dropped $228.36 on books today. *whistles and nearly dies of sticker shock* I also convinced mom to let me get THE SHOULDERBAG, so come next week I should have a Myth shoulder bag with a red dragon embroidered on the front. *woohoo!*
I have several people who want to go to the con in Las Angeles in January with me, one of whom is helping me design my Demyx costume. She's an amazing fashion designer, and her drawing skills in that respect rock.
Man, I love people who can draw.
So, I've met...let's see...*counts* (L,M,T,L,A,K) six girls whom I consider friends, one of whom is my roommate. They all just rock and I love 'em to death. As a matter of fact, I need to call L soon...
I can't wait to do Frosh Follies. The RA's write the script, and we act them out...Indiana George this time, in honor of George Pepperdine. This should be great.
